I can’t believe that today was the first time I have been to Glorioso’s Italian Market. I went with my girlfriend Emily, and I was so impressed I will definitely be back.

Love the variety and the fresh made pasta’s, dinners and more.

It’s Saturday night and tonight I am going with my girlfriend to the Tool Shed, an erotic boutique practically across the street from my house. We are taking a class on Tantra.

It is also Milwaukee’s first woman owned sex toy shop, and I have found them to be very knowledgeable about the products, helpful and don’t make you feel weird being there.

It’s Friday and today’s post is #7 The Oriental Theatre.
The Oriental is Milwaukee’s only operating movie palaces, certainly the most beautiful and ornate one that has shown movies for 84 years solid. When the Oriental opened on July 2, 1927, it featured 2 minaret towers, three marvleous stained glass chandeliers, 6 larger-than-life Buddhas, several hand drawn murals, 8 porcelain lions, dozens of original draperies, and hundreds of elephants. This is how the papers described the Oriental when it opened and this is how it could be described today!
And tonight I am going to see The Hunger Games. I’ve heard it’s good although I have not read the books yet.

While this may not be as fun and trendy as some of the other places on the east side it is a necessity, especially when you need to buy some delicious Polish Moon from MKE Brewing at 3 in the afternoon. #nojudging

    Whole Foods Milwaukee

While I try to shop locally and I love Outpost, Whole Foods is right behind my house so I find myself there several times a week, not only for grocery shopping; but I love their pizza, the spinach and feta is my fav. They have a great deli and salad bar as well that I frequent often.

Beans & Barley is a staple for those of us that live on the east side, not only is it a restaurant that sources most of it’s food locally and organically, its a small grocery.

My favs are the Rabbit (fresh apple and orange juice) and brunch on Saturday or Sunday.

    #3 Bikram Yoga Milwaukee

Most of my friends know I am a Bikram freak, I did my first class Dec 16th 2009 and LOVED IT from day 1 (People love it or hate it) and after a two week trial I dove in and did 101 days straight (yeah I’m a little nuts). The video I posted above was shot after I did my first 101 day challenge. Now after being a yoga nut for a little over two years I am doing another 101 day challenge (today was day 3). You can see more of my yoga video’s here.

    #2 The Oak Leaf Trail
I recently started walking an hour a day and my favorite place to walk is along the Oak Leaf Trail, I pick it up on Kenilworth next to the UWM housing building.

    #1 Champions Pub
Yesterday was St. Patty’s Day and it has become a tradition to spend it at Champion’s Pub. My friend Robert has been going here for years and I joined the fun about 6 years ago. It is the perfect place for a green beer if you are so inclined, I prefer a Smithwick’s and its one of the few times a year I’ll smoke a cigar with the guys.
The day generally starts out about 9am with Shamrock shakes from McDonalds and then Ken brings out the green spray paint and you aren’t part of the club until you have some green on. Party goes on til the last man standing or crawling.
