Yesterday was St. Patty’s Day and it has become a tradition to spend it at Champion’s Pub. My friend Robert has been going here for years and I joined the fun about 6 years ago. It is the perfect place for a green beer if you are so inclined, I prefer a Smithwick’s and its one of the few times a year I’ll smoke a cigar with the guys.
The day generally starts out about 9am with Shamrock shakes from McDonalds and then Ken brings out the green spray paint and you aren’t part of the club until you have some green on. Party goes on til the last man standing or crawling.
